We work closely with Veterinarians, Farriers, Dentists, Saddle fitters and Coaches to ensure all aspects of performance and rehabilitation are covered.

We are registered with the Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists and Insured through Balens Insurance company.

Caroline Chambers

Equi-Formance is run by Caroline Chambers BSc (Hons) AdvCertVPhys, offering performance enhancement and rehabilitation services to horses in the North and South of Ireland. Caroline has always had a passion for the health and well-being of animals and her experience competing in a variety of equestrian disciplines has given her a great understanding of the physical requirements placed on these animals.

 

She first gained a BSc (Hons) in Equine Management in 2015 which spiked an interested in the biomechanics of the horse. She carried out her Thesis on the effects weighted boots have on the hindlimb, of riding school horses, over a fence of 1 metre.

​

Caroline completed a Veterinary Physiotherapy course through Canine and Equine Physiotherapy Training (CEPT) which is run at a Level 7 ensuring a high standard of training. As a full member of IRVAP, she regularly attends continual professional development days to ensure she is up to date with new research and developing her skills and knowledge. She follows a strict 'Code of Practice' and is fully insured.
